Everything is still all over the place. Forecasters are freaking out over the "storm of the century" model run of the EURO from late last night. While this is a possible solution, it is still too early to tell and there is no consistency with it across any other data.
Over in the contractor group, we are starting to look at the numbers and I have showed those members exactly how inconsistent the data is currently. I will be taking another look at this this evening and will issue an additional update if needed.
Currently the way things are shaping up is that the EURO is showing more snow accumulation for southern New England and widespread coating for the rest of the region, while the GFS is showing less accumulation and localized mainly to southern New England. Both are showing plowable and shovel able conditions.
Again, more will be known over the next 24-48 hours.
