The week ahead and beyond

We have a few chances for rain over the next few days, but only in the form of showers.

Tuesday is a nice June day. Not too hot, humidity not overpowering, just a nice day.

Wednesday is looking like showers to storms later in the day. I would suspect that given the temps and atmospheric conditions, some of those could be severe, but we will monitor that as we get closer.

Thursday is a decent day with scattered showers possible. I am going to call it more like this past weekend where showers are isolated and not widespread, but we will monitor this more as well as we get closer.

The long range shows some decent storm systems next week that could bring some drenching rain.

Nothing currently worth mentioning in the tropics. There are a few systems in the Gulf that we are keeping an eye on, but nothing to be alarmed about.
