Since everyone wants to know about the next one, here it is, and some are not going to like it.
If you live in central New England, chances are that whatever snow you get from this current storm will be gone by Monday.
We are watching a fairly warm coastal storm as of current data. This one has Nor’easter potential, but is not there yet, and low confidence that it will become a significant storm for us. While it is well within the area to be a big storm, we still just do not have that cold air in place and chances are that if this storm doesn’t pull itself together, it won’t amount to much.
On the flip side, this could turn into a fairly decent storm, we just have to wait and see what happens with our initial storm first.
We could be talking about a considerable amount of rain from this one in the multiple inches, where if this had colder air to play with, we would be talking multiple feet of snow. Significant coastal flooding is likely as this storm will hit during an already higher than normal high tide.
We will continue to check in on this storm, and then turn our attention to Wednesday, which appears to be a bit colder.
