We are down to one main event. The secondary event originally predicted to catch the tail end of the main one with snow is not going to happen.
So, what will happen?
Scattered snow showers begin overnight and through the day tomorrow. Cold air damming is likely to hold onto those snow showers a bit longer in central New England before turning to rain by late afternoon. Everyone will see some form on wet/rain precipitation by the end. Scattered showers become steadier throughout the day Thursday and into Friday. There looks to be a little break in the action Friday morning before precipitation returns that afternoon. All is wrapped up by Saturday morning for this event.
Temps will remain mild Friday and Saturday before dropping down again late in the day Saturday.
Wind gusts Friday could be as high as 50mph along the coast, and up to 30-40mph inland. Scattered power outages are likely. Overall, not too bad.
Overall, I give this event a rating of “Annoying”.
