Snow Update

As this system continues across the region with some heavy snowfall warnings issued, eyes are really turning toward the Monday system.

Confidence is increasing immensely for a major snow event to cross the region, comparable in accumulation to the big storm in January, but a much higher water content with a lower water equivalent ratio, and significant winds.

The majority of the 18z short range model runs this evening have captured this next system and we really went from a completely out to sea event, so a full on blizzard.

We will discuss this more tomorrow and go over what the initial outlook is at that time.
