Our next storm system moves in for Thursday late morning and lasts through Friday late morning. This is a very difficult one to forecast, so bear with me a bit. I will show what we are looking at and just how dynamic is really is. This is a system mixed with a lot of warm and cold air. Some areas may see snow, while others farther north see rain, and so on. Here is a look at what I am talking about.
Snow, rain, freezing rain, sleet, back to rain, then finishing in northern Maine as snow for a short time before it pulls away. I can’t even begin to tell you how frustrating this one is. The back side of this storm could be quite blustery with wind gusts in the 30-40mph range at times.
