Current Conditions
On this Friday morning, we are looking at some continued rain showers across southern New England, and snow showers to the far north.
Meanwhile, an update on the drought situation. Things are improving. Not out of the woods by a long shot, but improvements are across the board. We still need a lot more rain for those affected areas in the eastern portion of the region in order to get out of the woods, and those that are currently clear of drought conditions, it won’t take much to tip the scales back the opposite direction.
Update on the app:
I had a great meeting yesterday with the development company. Things are progressing forward and they are in possession of my logo packaging and moving ahead with development. I can’t get into too many specifics right now, but this app mirrors others in other areas of the country who operate weather notification pages like mine. The goal is to provide an all-inclusive, on stop shop that provides high quality radar, honest and human interacted short- and long-range forecasts, as well as alerts for severe weather. We are still a way out from release and there is no concrete timeline, but there is progress and it is in the right direction.
