Coming this week
Looking out over the next several days, it is really a matter of scattered showers on Tuesday with a few rumbles of thunder, followers by Wednesday with a front moving through.
Tuesday starts out with rain in northern Maine. Through the day, we start to transition to pop up showers and storms. Strongest storms will be roughly between 2pm and 5pm. Rainfall amounts are looking like a half inch or less overall with some pop up cells capable to dumping a bit more.
Wednesday is a bit cooler with a cold front pushing through from around the mid-morning through late afternoon. Not a whole lot of rain expected from this either unless an individual localized area produces more.
Thursday looks like passing showers far south that may or may not affect southern New England with a scattered occasional shower in the rest of the region. Nothing earth shattering. It will be much cooler with a potential frost in the morning and the possibility for temperatures to drop below freezing farther north.
The weekend looks like a washout as of now, but we will keep an eye on it as we get closer.
